Chalet Rainbird is a
large detached chalet of 170 m2 located close to the
village of Les Houches and 4 km from the town of
Chamomix. The chalet is within easy reach of
beginner-intermediate skiing at Les Houches and all
levels of skiing in Chamonix. The modern chalet is built
in a traditional alpine style and boasts a high quality
interior style complete with under-floor heating and
wood burning stove.

The accommodation for
10 people comprises, three double bedrooms, one twin
bedroom, and a child’s bedroom with cot and bunk bed.
The chalet has two bathrooms, one with a bath and
overhead shower, and the other with a shower, toilet and
drying area for wet clothes. There are in addition two
separate toilets. The open plan kitchen (linked directly
to the living area) contains an oven with integral hob
and a dishwasher. The living area is a large open-plan
area with a farmhouse table (seats 10 people) at one end,
and a cosy sitting area around the wood burning stove at
the other.
Chalet Rainbird has a
large garden >1000 m2 with a large wooden balcony
leading out from the living room into the garden. The
chalet has magnificent views of the mountains in the
dramatic Chamonix valley.
